At My Child Hero, your satisfaction matters. We take pride in the quality of our personalized storybooks, and we want you to feel confident in your purchase. This policy explains when and how you can request a refund.

1. Our Commitment to Quality

Every storybook is custom-created using AI based on the unique details you provide. We review each story for quality, age-appropriateness, and alignment with your selected values before delivery. Because each book is personalized and made to order, refund eligibility depends on the stage of production.

2. Refund Eligibility

✅ Full Refund Eligible

  • You request a cancellation before story generation has begun (typically within 1 hour of placing your order).
  • A technical error on our side prevents delivery of your storybook within a reasonable timeframe (more than 7 business days after payment).
  • You were charged incorrectly or duplicate charges occurred.

⚠️ Partial Refund / Credit Considered

  • Story generation has started but you are unsatisfied with the quality — we will first offer a free revision. If the issue persists, a partial refund or store credit may be granted at our discretion.
  • The character resemblance does not meet your expectations despite a clear photo being provided — we will always attempt a redo first.

❌ Not Eligible for Refund

  • The storybook has been delivered and downloaded successfully.
  • You provided an unclear or low-quality photo that affected the character generation, despite being informed of the requirements.
  • A change of mind after the storybook has been completed.
  • Platform credits or subscription fees that have already been used.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at [email protected] within 14 calendar days of your purchase date and include:

  • 1.Your full name and the email address used to place the order.
  • 2.Your order reference number (found in your confirmation email).
  • 3.The reason for your refund request, and any relevant screenshots or details.

4. Processing Time

Once your refund request is approved, we will process it within 5–10 business days. The refund will be returned to your original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
