My Child Hero is designed for parents and guardians — not for direct use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All data about children is provided by and managed by a consenting adult. We take child privacy extremely seriously and comply with applicable child protection regulations.
At My Child Hero ("طفلي البطل"), your privacy and the privacy of your family are our top priorities. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over your data.

- •Story order details: Your child's first name, age range, selected values (e.g. kindness, courage), and dream profession. These are used exclusively to generate your personalized storybook.
- •Child's photo: You may upload a photo of your child. This image is used solely to generate a cartoon character for the storybook. It is stored securely and never shared with third parties beyond what is strictly necessary for generation.
- •Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
- •Contact information: Email or WhatsApp number if you choose to provide them for communication.
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- •Usage data: Pages visited, actions taken, and session duration, collected via Google Analytics to help us improve the platform.
- •Device information: Browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and performance purposes.
- •Cookies: We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and functional cookies to remember your preferences. See Section 7 for details.
2. How We Use Your Information

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA Aligned)
My Child Hero is a service used by adults, for children. We are committed to protecting children's privacy:
- 🔒We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All information about a child is entered by a verified adult account holder (parent or guardian).
- 🔒Children's photos are stored securely and are only accessible by authorized personnel for the purpose of story generation.
- 🔒Photos are retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the order and any applicable follow-up (e.g., revisions). Upon request, we will delete them promptly.
- 🔒Children's first names used in stories are stored in encrypted form and are never publicly displayed or shared.
- 🔒No behavioral profiling or targeted advertising is applied to accounts that contain children's data.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We only share data with trusted service providers that are strictly necessary to operate our platform:

- •Account data: Retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time.
- •Child photos: Retained for 90 days after story delivery to allow for revisions, then automatically deleted unless you request earlier deletion.
- •Generated storybooks: Available in your account library for at least 12 months.
- •Payment records: Retained as required by applicable financial regulations.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- •Access the personal data we hold about you.
- •Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- •Delete your account and associated data (including your child's photo and information).
- •Object to our processing of your data for certain purposes (e.g., analytics).
- •Portability — request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.

7. Cookies
We use the following types of cookies:

While we take every precaution, no system is 100% immune to security risks. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify registered users by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
